Getting Closer!

5 down, 2 to go!! I just finished my 5th rotation on Friday. This one was at the VA Med Center here in KC. I started this one at the beginning of January. With most rotations, I am ready to leave be the end of it but this one I am really going to miss. I did a lot of clinic work with one-on-one time with patients...it was wonderful! I've spent a lot of time over the past 2 years at the VA and it was kind of hard leaving. I am also going to miss being able to eat lunch with my husband every day in his office! Anyway...I can hardly believe that I have 8 weeks of clinical rotations until I am done FOREVER!! I can't even fathom not being a student! What will I do with my life?? Oh yeah, work and make $$!!! I am so ready to not be poor! In 3 months, I will be a Pharm.D.!! Yippie:)

Lazy Weekend

This weekend was pretty relaxing and laid back. We stayed in on Friday night, made a mexican feast and watched some of our favorite TV shows. Then Saturday, we ran errands together, I went out to see my horse, Molly, and he played guitar the rest of the afternoon. Saturday night, we went out for salads at one of our favorite restaurants. Then today, Jacob had to work in the morning so I slept in. The rest of the day, I worked on a research project that's due this week and he worked on a lecture that he gives soon. It was a really boring weekend but because our weeks are so hectic, I have come to really value being at home together, not having to study and just relaxing! To me, there's nothing better. Are we getting old or what?!?
