Graduation Ceremony

Only a few members of my family came to the ceremony on Saturday afternoon.

Getting hooded and receiving my fake diploma. We get the real one mailed to us. It was very exciting but I was so afraid that I was going to trip...I had some good size heels on.
Walking back to my seat afterwards...still afraid of tripping!
Me and Lauren after the ceremony. She had her baby, Aidan, after 4th year. I don't know how she sat through lectures and exams being pregnant and how she got through rotations with a baby at home...but she did! We both got Magna Cum Laude honors. We pretty much sat next to each other through every class!!One of our professors, Dr. Marken. She was a great mentor to both Jacob and me throughout school.
Me and my good friend, Jen. She is working for the same company that I have taken a job with here in KC.

Mannie, me and Alan.

Me and my parents. My mom was kind of proud of the Magna Cum Laude honor medal!Me and my hubby.Me with my aunt and uncle, Mary K and Bret. They have been like parents to me over the years.

Kettle, Pharm.D., May 10th 2008.She also gave me a Coach purse...I LOVE Coach purses! Jacob gave me another black and gray Coach clutch...it's wonderful!!My aunts, uncles and grandparents gave me a matching ring and necklace set that has diamonds and pink sapphires in it...beautiful!!My parents gave me this beautiful cedar chest. It's black and it has all these compartments in it...I love it! They are also giving Jacob and I a grandfather clock when we have our next house. Our house now is a bit too small for one now.

I got a lot of other gifts...too many pictures to show!

It was a fantastic weekend! I am so excited to be done! It feels so good! Thanks to my wonderful husband for being my rock all the way through school...getting each other through pharmacy school made us so strong as a couple. And to my family, their encouragement and support has been unbelievable! I will never be able to repay them!!

Now it's on to finally having a career!! I am ready to be a pharmacist!! But first things first, I still have to pass Boards!! Wish me good luck!

Dr. Elizabeth Kettle, Pharm.D.!!!!!!

It's official...I'm finally a Pharm.D. The weekend was packed with banquets, family, graduation and partying. I had an absolute blast and I'm bittersweet about being done but I'm ready to start the next chapter in my life. I am absolutely exhausted and don't have all the fun pictures yet so I will post the weekends happenings later this week. Whew...big sigh of relief...I can't believe it's over!
