A little late...but here is my Christmas update:
The weekend before Christmas, we went to my mom's side of the family's Christmas in Springfield. This year we decided to have an ugly Christmas sweater contest. We played games and there were prizes and even a fashion show. All of my family's sweaters came from my mother-in-law who used to be a kindergarten teacher. She has sweaters from every holiday that she would wear to class! Back then though, they were stylish!!
So here is my mom and dad and me in our ugly sweaters. I can't believe that I got my dad to put this on! I think we look pretty tacky!!

Here is part of my mom's side of the family. There's a lot more people though...I've got almost 20 cousins on that side.

We spend Christmas Eve with my family. My parents recently bought one of Quinn's houses out in the Old Hawthorne subdivision on the golf course so this was our first Christmas in the new house. Jacob's dad, Barry also spends Christmas with us...it's becoming a tradition.
Here is Quinn with his favorite gift...coveralls!

Christmas Day we spend with Jacob's parents. She loves opening gifts on Christmas morning. Then we have a big brunch and play with our new presents! This year Judi gave Dan a Chevy truck. Jacob acted like he forgot something at his Dad's house but really he went to get the truck that was in a neighbor's garage. Then she had Dan open up the keys right when Jacob was pulling into the driveway. He got very emotional. It was very exciting!
Christmas afternoon we went over to Barry's house for gift opening with him. He gave Jacob and drum set that turned out to be too big. I think he's going to take it back to get a driver to play golf with this spring/summer. He gave me a statue that I have always loved.
So that was Christmas 2007! Lots of memories! It's always sad to see another Christmas gone...time goes way too fast.
