2nd Anniversary Continued

Friday night, we headed off to the Cards game. It was the first time for both of us to be in Busch stadium...it's beautiful and very impressive! We went extra early to watch batting practice and because the first so many thousand fans got t-shirts. We didn't catch any fly balls but it was fun trying. Our seats were awesome...just between home and 1st base. It wasn't the best game...kind of boring actually, but we both enjoyed the evening, regardless.

Saturday morning, we took a tour of the Arch...you can't go to STL and not go up into the Arch! Both of us hadn't been since we were very young. The ride up was a little closterphobic, but once we got up there it was pretty amazing!

Saturday night, we got some drinks at the outside bar at the hotel. They had live music before and after each game which was cool because the Cards were playing there all weekend. For dinner Saturday night, we went to this amazing italian restaurant downtown...the best italian food I think either one of us have had! I would take a big plate of that tortellini right now if I could!! YUM!

Sunday morning, we went to the Missouri Botanical Gardens. Some of the most beautiful landscaping ever! I can not even imagine keeping all that up...I can barely keep up the few flower beds we have around our house!

After this, we headed back to Columbia to pick Toula up (thanks mom for watching her...again!) and then off to KC.

I can't believe it's been two years already since the best, most wonderful day of my life. I wish I could relive that day over and over again!!! I am so blessed to spend my life with my best friend. I LOVE our life together...what it is now and what it will become in the future! I love you, Jacob:)

2nd Anniversary

Ok, so I am really behind in the blogging world and these pictures are from a month ago, but it's something right?

On May 20, 2008, Jacob and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversay!!! To celebrate, I planned a surprise extended weekend trip to St. Louis (very similar to Liz and Jon's anniversary trip!). It was a great weekend! We got to do some fun things, eat some awesome food and spend some much needed time together! Here's a run down of the weekend's happenings...

We got into St. Louis on late Friday morning and we headed straight for the zoo. We weren't too sure at first because of all the kids running around but it ended up to a great afternoon! Jacob is so impressed and infatuated with big animals, especially the hippos! My fave was the giraffes.

After we left the zoo, we checked into our hotel, the Hilton at the Ballpark. Our room overlooked Busch stadium...it was awesome! You literally could have watched the games from our room. We grabbed a wonderful late lunch near our hotel and walked around downtown a bit.

Prayers, please!

Hi ya'll. My boards are coming up soon and I'd appreciate some prayers! I'm about to drive myself crazy from all the studying. It seems like when I study something, something else leaves my brain...there's just not anymore room in there!! Pray that I can control this anxiety!! It literally is making me sick...I came down with an ear infection/upper respiratory infection a couple of days ago...thank God that I got into the doctor this evening for an antibiotic before the weekend because I need the weekend to be productive! Anyway, I would really appreciate it! God brought me to pharmacy school, I know he'll carry me through to the end! I'll blog more when it's all over! Wish me luck:)
